Here we have cpf2 at his birthday party posing with what I imagine is the first of many late-night-before assemblies. It was a great day for him - many nice visitors, Pooh decorations, presents, and a Ukrainian delicacy, yummy homemade cupcakes (sorry, inside joke). Then that night he went to Chandler's on Lake Union for Alaskan King Crab Legs. Awww yeahhhh.

The party was on Sunday, but his actual birthday was on the previous Wednesday. That night he got to go pick out some new books the he went to his favorite Seattle Mexican restaurant, Jalisco. The ladies there are always so lovely and they just adore Christopher. When they found out it was his birthday, they got the guitarist to come over and they sang him a beautiful Mexican ballad and then "Happy Birthday" in spanish. It really was special. Oh, and he got to wear his first sombrero. (Like a dear friend once said, "What fun is life if you don't get to wear a sombrero?")
