Editor's Note

We here at the blog are just getting tired of having to delete spam comments, but we don't want to limit accessibility to all of cpf2's fans...SO...whenever you leave a comment you'll be asked to type in a verification word. The word will be supplied at the time and you don't have to have a blogger account, this merely prevents automated systems from leaving their droppings on our site...I hope.

*We now return to our regularly scheduled blogging*

So Big.

Yep, he's a pretty happy kid. He's now over 9 months old and has 2 teeth (you'll have to believe me on that). He's also starting to stand and take steps. I thought he was a fast crawler, but I'm gonna have to go buy new cross-trainers. Gracie and Lucy see it coming too. They're a funny trio and he's gonna be able to catch them soon. Should be interesting.

It's official.

Here is the sure sign that we now enter the 7+ consecutive months of "candy holidays". In that I've always considered that to be a holiday unto itself, I also face the first true hurdle of parenthood. How do I celebrate this properly and not lead my young son to the dark side at the same time? I know, his needs are more important than my weaknesses (but I get the shakes just looking at this picture). By the way, if it's not Brach's it's sub-standard. This isn't going to be easy.

Firsts

Christopher's had lots of firsts since we've been in Seattle. His first beach was at Alki (West Seattle). His first movie was "Batman Begins" (who'd have thought!) at the IMAX. His first concert was the Gipsy Kings (yes, that's spelled correctly) out on the grounds of Chateau Ste. Michelle winery. Here he is at his first sporting event the other night. We took him to see the Seattle Mariners and the New York Yankees at Safeco Field. I'm not sure he knows there was a ballgame going on 35-stories below us, but it seems the people sitting behind us were fascinating.

Gettin' buff

Christopher has recently started a weekly class at the "Little Gym" nearby. It's an opportunity for him to play in a secure environment with other babies and he loves other babies.

Go Hogs!

Some of Christopher's Arkansas-type fans noticed something he was wearing in a couple of pics, so here is a close-up view. It was a gift from his Marmie (That's "grandmother" for those of you who don't speak "Little Women") For those in Tennessee, well, he just doesn't have anything orange or with a "T". For those in Washington, these are college football references and you people just don't seem to get it. We live about 15 blocks from Husky Stadiuim at UW, and around town you'd never guess that anything ever went on there (except, of course, for the occassional Anti-Bush rally...whatever). I'm guessing Knoxville and AR will start talking about football pretty soon {wink, wink}
