There were a couple of nights in Napa so we took the opportunity visit some of the local businesses. Tasty, very tasty.

Yeah, I don't have any idea...

Trees that size, you'd really expect them to be in Texas.

Here he is with his Marmie and Poppie at a scenic overlook as we headed for California (mean wind out there!). They had a great time together.

This was a pretty good action shot of Christopher on the beach. Shortly after this photo, he learned in harsh fashion that Oregon beaches are not as warm as the Florida beaches he went to just a couple of weeks earlier.

Those rocks that Christopher is sitting on are the actual natural composition of that beach (Yaquina Head, Oregon) They are basalt cobbles and are part of a protected area just below the lighthouse in a previous picture.

One of the very interesting places we stopped along the way. If you've never had Tillamook dairy, you simply haven't lived. You also won't understand why I'd be inspired to put this picture on the blog. If you've had it, then you're just going to pause a moment, smile, and move on.

If you're thinking that this called for lawn chairs and wine glasses (and 1 sippy cup), you'd be correct.

Along the way, we stopped at some very interesting places. We stayed a couple of nights in Newport, Oregon. This picture was our view out the front of the RV. I've always been an east coast kind-of-guy, but there's no denying the beauty involved here.

Well, we're there. Even in an RV, cross-country travel is no simple task. This is a pretty good sampling of Christopher as we made our way from Seattle through Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and into Arkansas. He was a good boy and an even better sport, putting up with a lot for a kid his age.

Almost done

I know, it's been a long time since the last post. However, we're getting close to being settled in Fayetteville and as of about 30 minutes ago we have internet again so I'll be posting some new photos VERY soon...promise.
