Just got this in the mail from Grandpa. One of the few times during his trip that he wasn't soaking wet.

A wonderfully horrible trip to Florida

Kenneth. (There's a story there. Maybe I'll feel like telling it one day.)

One morning while in Tampa, we took Christopher over to Clearwater Beach to get his first impression of the really big water. He loved it. He's a bit clingy in pools, but he just fearlessly charged into the surf. He also made sure to gather a few valuables (shells) from the beach and entrusted them to his Grandpa for safe keeping. Afterwards, we went over to one of Kenneth's favorite places, Frenchy's, and had a Grouper sandwich. Somewhat of a tribute, if you will. (one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken)

At this point, Christopher is pretty sure that Florida is a place you go to play with garden hoses, jump in bodies of water, and generally be wet most of the time. Here he is after helping his Uncle George wash the love bugs off the front of his car.

Here is cpf2 with his Grandpa. They're a pretty good pair. One has a lap and the other likes to sit in laps. Good times.

Okay, so we're back from Florida. What a horribly difficult trip. However, there was a great deal of good too, so that's where I'm going with this. First off, Christopher got to meet his cousins Daniel, Nathan, & Megan for the first time and that was genuinely special. This was a particularly good shot of cpf2 and Dan.
