This pic is for my Powell kids.

Later today, there are a bunch of kids a country away who'll begin their fall halftime show with someone else, not me. Of course I knew it would happen, but it still feels very unsettling. Guys, I hope by now you realize your good fortune at getting Mr. Milligan. I miss you every day, but I also know you're going to have a great year...so am I (I didn't even have to show him how to hold that saxophone correctly; he just did it!). Good luck in Hawaii! ; )

Oh, by the way, look what we started doing not too long ago. He's in such a hurry to be big. I'm kinda torn as to how I feel about that. Sure, I'm proud, but I'd also kinda like for him to be a baby just a little longer.

I didn't get the "pink"' memo...

On the way to Washington, we had an opportunity to stop in Albion, Nebraska (from where Stacy's family comes) and have Christopher baptised. Stacy's Uncle Sonny came in to handle the service. It was a big day. It was an afternoon service just for him and there were still nearly 50 people there!

The 4th of July

Yes, there he is ladies and gentlemen...the dude.

We ran across this on the side of the road on the way out here. It doesn't have much to do with Christopher, but maybe it'll serve as inspiration to one of my brothers. ; )

We're there.

For those who thought we'd dropped off the face of the earth, it only seemed like it. We are officially Seattlites. So far, it's a nice place to visit, but we'll just see what the next year brings. (For those of you in Rio Linda, King County is where you find Seattle.)
